We're back with our winter wellness workshops at whisc offering a free Yin Yoga & Sound healing session at WHISC (Women’s Health Information & Support Centre) in Liverpool.

WHISC has long been a safe, supportive space for women across the city, and our collaboration is centred around one purpose: to create a moment of pause and deep nourishment for women who spend so much of their time caring for others.

Why Yin Yoga & Sound Are So Important Right Now

The modern world asks a lot of us — emotionally, physically, and mentally. Many women juggle work, caregiving, financial pressures, emotional labour, and the expectations of holding everything together.

Yin Yoga and sound healing offer a rare chance to:

✨ Slow down deeply

Yin invites long, supported postures that soften the nervous system and release tension in the body’s deeper layers. It is ground based (meaning no flow or standing poses) and accessible for all. I also offer chair yoga options for those who would prefer to do their movement on a chair.

✨ Restore the mind

Sound frequencies from crystal bowls guide the brain into calmer states, supporting stress relief, sleep, and emotional clarity. The energy from the bowls can be transformative and help us to move through stuck emotions or feelings. It can bring up a lot of emotions, but this is helpful in moving through to the other side.

✨ Feel safe and supported

This session is held with softness and care — a place to simply be, without pressure or expectations. I bring oracle cards, candles and there's space to journal or share afterwards if you feel called to.
