A year of growth, creativity, and community healing

At Flowstate CIC, we believe creativity & access to movement and wellbeing practices is not a luxury — it’s a lifeline. Art, movement, and mindful practices have the power to reduce isolation, build confidence, and help people reconnect with themselves and each other. As we step into 2026, our mission is to expand this impact, reach more communities, and create safe, expressive spaces where people can truly be themselves.

Our Ethos

Flowstate was created from the belief that creativity and wellbeing belong together. Our sessions combine artistic expression with grounding, therapeutic, and community-focused practices.

We aim to:

  • Reduce isolation and loneliness through shared creative experiences

  • Provide accessible, low-cost or free workshops to underserved communities

  • Empower women and marginalised groups through self-expression

  • Support emotional wellbeing through art, movement, and mindful practices

  • Build stronger, more connected local communities

Our approach is gentle, inclusive, and non-judgemental. You don’t need to be “good at art” to join us — you just need to show up as you are

What We’ve Already Offered

Over the past year, Flowstate has delivered a wide range of creative wellbeing sessions, including:

  • Henna for healing workshops

  • Paint & sip creative socials

  • Tote bag and textile art sessions

  • Yoga and soundbath experiences

  • Creative journaling and reflection workshops

  • Corporate wellbeing sessions

  • Women’s empowerment workshops

  • Introductions to meditation and breathwork sessions

  • Menstrual awareness & menopause support groups

These sessions have taken place in community centres, wellness spaces, and workplace environments, each designed to create a sense of calm, connection, and creative freedom.

Participants have told us that our sessions:

  • Helped them feel less alone

  • Gave them a safe space to express emotions

  • Reignited their creativity

  • Reduced stress and anxiety

  • Helped them build new friendships

  • Develop new skills and lasting confidence

This is the impact that drives everything we do.

Organisations We’ve Worked With

So far, we’ve been proud to collaborate with a range of community groups, charities, and spaces, including:

  • Refugee Women Connect & Asylum link

  • WHISC Liverpool

  • Local wellness studios and community venues

  • Independent creative and wellbeing practitioners

  • Womens refuges & support centres

  • Women recovering from domestic violence & substance reliability

Each partnership has allowed us to tailor sessions to the needs of specific communities — from refugee support groups to women’s wellbeing collectives.

Partnerships We’re Developing for 2026

In 2026, we’re focusing on building deeper and more sustainable partnerships. We’re currently in conversations with, or hoping to collaborate with:

  • Community centres and women’s support organisations

  • Refugee and migrant support charities

  • Mental health and recovery services

  • Corporate wellbeing programmes

  • Arts and culture venues

  • Youth and intergenerational community groups

With the right funding in place, these partnerships will allow us to offer consistent, ongoing programmes rather than one-off sessions.

Our 2026 Goal: Securing Funding to Expand Our Impact

This year, our main focus is securing funding to grow Flowstate’s reach and stability. Funding will allow us to:

  • Deliver free or subsidised workshops to those who need them most

  • Run long-term creative wellbeing programmes

  • Expand into new communities and cities

  • Provide paid opportunities for local artists and facilitators

  • Develop new workshop formats and resources

  • Strengthen our partnerships with charities and community groups

Rather than occasional events, we want to build regular, reliable spaces where people can return each week to feel supported, creative, and connected.

The Impact We Want to Create

Our vision for Flowstate in 2026 is to:

  • Reach hundreds of participants across multiple communities

  • Reduce social isolation through regular group sessions

  • Provide creative outlets for people experiencing stress, trauma, or transition

  • Build a network of facilitators and partners who share our ethos

  • Create accessible pathways into creativity for people who feel excluded from traditional art spaces

We want Flowstate to be known as a place where people can exhale, create, and belong.

Looking Ahead

2026 is a year of intention, growth, and collaboration. With the right support, we can turn small, meaningful sessions into a wide-reaching community movement rooted in creativity and care.

If you’re a community organisation, workplace, or funder interested in partnering with us, we’d love to hear from you.

Together, we can create more spaces where people feel calm, creative, and connected - enhancing wellbeing and community physical and mental health

Flowstate CIC — where creativity meets wellbeing, and community comes first.
