WHISC Henna Workshop

We just want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us on Wednesday at WHISC for our Henna Art Workshop.

The afternoon was filled with creativity, laughter, focus, and such a beautiful sense of calm. Watching everyone settle into the process, cones in hand, gently tracing patterns, encouraging one another — was a reminder of why we love holding these spaces so much.

A Space to Slow Down

Henna is more than decoration. It invites patience. Presence. Steady hands and soft focus.

As the session unfolded, you could feel the room shift. Conversations softened. Breathing slowed. People became immersed in pattern and detail. That’s the magic of mindful creativity, it naturally regulates the nervous system without us even trying.

In a world that often feels rushed and noisy, taking two hours to simply create can be deeply restorative.

The Benefits of Creative Workshops

Workshops like this offer more than just a new skill. They provide:

  • A chance to reduce stress through focused, repetitive movement

  • A boost in confidence from learning something new

  • A sense of connection through shared experience

  • A reminder that creativity doesn’t need to be perfect to be meaningful

There was so much joy in the room, from first tentative lines to bold, intricate designs. No experience was needed, and that freedom allowed everyone to explore without pressure.

Community, Connection & Joy

One of the most special parts of Wednesday was the atmosphere. WHISC provided such a welcoming environment, and it was beautiful to see people connecting, sharing ideas, complimenting each other’s designs, and celebrating the process rather than striving for perfection.

That’s what Flowstate is all about: creating spaces where people feel safe to slow down, express themselves, and simply be.

What’s Next?

If you joined us, thank you for bringing your energy, openness, and creativity into the room.

And if you couldn’t make it this time, don’t worry. We’ll be hosting more creative and wellbeing workshops soon.

If you’re interested in future events, keep an eye on our social media and website for upcoming dates. We’d love to welcome you into the space next time.

Here’s to more mindful making, shared laughter, and moments of flow ✨🤍
