As the festive season gathers pace, there’s no better time to pause, breathe, and reconnect with yourself.

Rise & Shine is an immersive yoga and sound healing session taking place inside the magnificent Rise Brunch Bar Tipi at Exchange Flags right in the heart of Liverpool. This feel-good Friday morning experience is designed to help you gently reset, ground your energy, and step into the weekend feeling calm, clear, and nourished.

A cosy winter reset

Step inside the beautifully warm and welcoming tipi and allow yourself 90 minutes of intentional movement, stillness, and sound. This special session weaves together grounding yoga, conscious breathwork, and a deeply restorative sound bath — the perfect antidote to end-of-year busyness.

Whether you’re craving calm, clarity, or simply some time just for you, this is the yoga and soundbath event you don’t want to miss.

What to expect

The session will be guided by Abi from Flowstate, who will lead an accessible yin–yang yoga flow designed to gently wake the body, build soft energy, and settle the mind. Expect a steady, grounding practice that meets you exactly where you are — no matter your experience level.

Once movement and breath have been invited into the body, you’ll be guided into a healing sound bath journey, using crystal singing bowls and grounding instruments. The sounds and vibrations are chosen to calm the nervous system, restore balance, and leave you feeling energised and supported as you move into the weekend and festive period ahead.

To finish, you’re invited to linger and enjoy a hot drink or snack at the Rise café, soaking up the glow of a morning well spent.

Abi leads yoga and wellbeing sessions that support people to slow down, reset, and reconnect with themselves. Her teaching style is calm, accessible, and grounded in an understanding of how the body and mind respond to stress.

With experience in trauma-sensitive practice and community facilitation, Abi creates a safe, contained environment where people can step away from daily demands and focus on their own wellbeing. Her sessions combine mindful movement, focused breathing, and simple relaxation techniques that leave participants feeling clearer, lighter, and more present.
