International womens day

It was an honour and delight to come to womens charities over Liverpool offering free henna for international women’s day. I find henna to be a beautiful form of expression & outlet for people both giving and receiving. When receiving henna people open up, they share with you where they are in life, what they maybe need help with or are struggling with, their hopes & dreams & glimpses into their lives. It’s deeply personal and not just body art! Offering henna I feel like I provide a supportive space to be authentic & open without judgement & people receive that. We were able to finalise our free henna workshops for local charities on this day also, so I will now be hosting workshops where I can teach women how to henna for themselves, this can open up space for more community, mindfulness through creative & potential income streams from those who wish to develop this healing & creative craft
