Over the past few weeks, we’ve had the honour of hosting tote bag decorating workshops in collaboration with WHISC (Women’s Health Information & Support Centre) and local domestic abuse charities across Liverpool.
These sessions were designed as creative, calm spaces where women could express themselves through art, unwind, and connect with others in a safe and supportive setting. Using stencils, paints & imagination we created a varied selection of beautiful creative keepsakes

💛 Why These Workshops Are So Loved
Creativity can be deeply therapeutic. Many of the women who joined us shared that it was their first time doing something creative in years. The gentle, non-judgmental space allowed them to switch off from stress, explore their inner artist, and experience a boost in confidence and wellbeing.
"I forgot about everything for a while—it felt really calming and freeing."— Workshop Participant
🎨 What We Created
Each tote bag became a personal piece of wearable art. From bold colours and uplifting affirmations, to florals, patterns, and symbolic messages, every bag told a story.

📍 Where & When We’re Back
We’ll be running more creative workshops throughout May & June 2025 across Liverpool, including:
Women’s community centres
Support groups and shelters
Local wellbeing hubs
These sessions will continue to be free for participants, supported through our community outreach programme.
