Craft workshops & performance: Aquatopia Anniversary - Liverpool

Well where to even start?! Last year we worked with many communities in Liverpool as part of Culture Liverpool & invisible wind factory for their Eurvoision parade in honour of Liverpool hosting the global show. This year we revived the concept of house of Aquatopia for an anniversary reunion special & it was fantastic! Uniting the city through art, crafts & performance my day consisted of hosting Fish craft workshops for families, including making your own fish hats, mirror ball paul replicas, alongside jellyfish fascinators & fish puppets, then performing as part of a Voguing dance troop on stage at the Pier Head at the Liverpool docks for the finale! We were joined in our dane by a choir, Liverpool samba dancers, Katumba drummers & many volunteers from the local Liverpool community & Asylum Link bringing magical sea energy to an epic performance! It's never a dull moment in my world - and some times you just have to dress up like a fish, get creative & bring in the energy for your city! https://www.cultureliverpool.co.uk/events/welcome-to-aquatopia/ https://www.visitliverpool.com/event/aquatopia/60711101/
