Celebrating International Women’s Day 2025 with WHISC

On International Women’s Day 2025, Flowstate had the pleasure of celebrating with WHISC, a remarkable organization dedicated to supporting the wellbeing of women and their families. It was a day filled with creativity, connection, and recognition of the strength and resilience of women from all walks of life.

Women play so many vital roles in our communities, as caregivers, leaders, friends, and changemakers. Yet, all too often, they put their own well-being last. That’s why spaces like WHISC are so important they provide support, empowerment, and a sense of belonging for women navigating life’s challenges. This International Women’s Day, we wanted to honour these incredible women by offering a moment of creative escape, self-expression, and joy.

Flowstate hosted a series of hands on workshops, including dream catcher painting, glitter art, earring making, and henna. These activities weren’t just about making beautiful crafts they were about embracing mindfulness, creativity, and the therapeutic benefits of art. Engaging in creative practices has been shown to reduce stress, improve mental well-being, and help people connect with themselves and others. Crafting allows us to be present in the moment, to express emotions in a tangible way, and to take pride in something we’ve created with our own hands.

We loved celebrating the diverse and inspiring women at WHISC, each with their own story, strength, and creativity. We hope that everyone who joined us found joy in the process, took a break from the demands of everyday life, and left feeling refreshed and inspired

A huge thank you to WHISC for the incredible work you do in uplifting women and to everyone who participated in making this day so special. Let’s continue to support, celebrate, and uplift one another not just on International Women’s Day, but every day.
