Autumn Equinox: A time to let go

Happy Equinox šŸ

The Autumn Equinox marks the balance of day and night, signaling the start of fall in the Northern Hemisphere. It symbolizes a time of harvest, reflection, inviting connection to natureā€™s cycles and preparation for the introspective energy of winter.

Themes of the equinox are around letting go, releasing behaviours, things or beliefs that no longer serve us & shedding to be birthed anew in spring.

Here are some journal prompts to reflect on the Autumn Equinox, a time of balance, letting go, and preparing for inner growth:

1. Balance: What areas of my life feel balanced right now? Where do I feel imbalance, and how can I restore equilibrium?

2. Harvest: What seeds (intentions, projects, or relationships) have I planted this year? What am I harvesting or bringing to fruition this season?

3. Letting Go: What old habits, patterns, or thoughts am I ready to release with the fall season?

4. Gratitude: What am I deeply grateful for as I transition from summer to autumn?

5. Inner Growth: How can I nurture my inner self during the slower, reflective months of autumn and winter?

6. Nature Connection: How do I feel connected to the changing cycles of nature during this time? What lessons can I take from autumnā€™s energy of release and transformation?

7. Emotional Check-In: How do I feel about the changes happening around me? How can I honor both the joy and the melancholy that can come with seasonal transitions?

8. Intentions for Winter: What intentions do I want to carry with me as I move toward the darker months?

9. Mindfulness: In what ways can I practice mindfulness and being present as I observe the shifts in nature and within myself?

These prompts encourage reflection on both the external world and inner self, aligning with the themes of balance and transition šŸ‚ šŸ
