🌿 Free Yin Yoga & Soundbath Session at WHISC – August 20th, 2–4pm 🌿

Join us for a calming and rejuvenating afternoon at WHISC (Women's Health Information & Support Centre) on Tuesday 20th August from 2–4pm, where we’ll be offering a free Yin Yoga and Soundbath session designed to soothe your body, quiet your mind, and restore your energy. In the summer months we often forget to slow down, we can get caught up in the energy & social demands of the long days and summer energies, this is an invitation to be guided with some gentle movement and a soothing sound journey. All materials are provided but if you have a yoga mat, eye pillow or anything to make yourself comfortable please bring them along!

✨ What to Expect

In this 2-hour session, we’ll begin with gentle Yin Yoga – a slow, meditative & floor based practice where postures are held for longer periods to target the deeper layers of connective tissue. This helps release tension, improve flexibility, and encourage stillness. This will be supported with gentle breathwrok designed to relax the body and mind

After the yoga practice, you’ll be guided into deep relaxation with a soundbath, where healing instruments like singing bowls, chimes, and gentle percussion will wash over you. Sound healing supports the nervous system, calms the mind, and promotes a profound sense of inner peace.

You’ll leave feeling grounded, nourished, and deeply restored.

🌸 Who Is It For?

This session is open to all women and non-binary people – whether you’re completely new to yoga or have some experience, no flexibility, fitness, or experience is needed – just come as you are, in comfortable clothes, and we’ll guide you gently through the session.
