This summer, we delivered a roar of creativity and imagination to local shopping centres with free dinosaur-themed craft sessions for children and families.
The workshops were designed to offer fun, educational, and inclusive activities during the school holidays — making sure that every child had the chance to join in, regardless of background or ability.
Creative Adventures with Dinosaurs
Over the summer weeks, we hosted a series of hands-on craft activities where children could step into the world of dinosaurs and let their imaginations run wild:
Dinosaur Masks – Children designed and decorated their own colourful dinosaur masks, proudly stomping around as their favourite prehistoric creatures.
Fossil Excavation – With brushes in hand, young explorers carefully excavated toy fossils, sparking curiosity about history, science, and discovery.
Clay Fossils – Kids shaped their own fossils & bones using clay, creating keepsakes to take home and treasure.
Making Creativity Accessible for All
These sessions were completely free, providing opportunities for children from disadvantaged backgrounds and communities to take part in enriching activities that they might not otherwise experience. We also made sure the sessions were welcoming & adaptable for children with additional needs, offering a calm, inclusive environment where everyone could engage at their own pace.
Building Community Through Play
The response from families was heart-warming — parents shared how much their children enjoyed the sessions, and many commented on how valuable it was to have free, high-quality activities available in their local area.
Beyond the crafts themselves, the workshops created moments of connection, joy, and learning, helping families make memories together during the summer break.
We believe that play, creativity, and community go hand in hand & craft sessions help to ensure that children and families feel supported, inspired, and included.
