Creative play for adults

Creative play is not just reserved for children; it holds immense importance for adults as well. Engaging in creative play fosters a myriad of benefits that enrich our lives and boost overall well-being. Firstly, it serves as a powerful stress reliever, allowing adults to temporarily escape the pressures of daily life and immerse themselves in a world of imagination. This playfulness stimulates the brain, encouraging innovative thinking, problem-solving, and the development of new skills. Creative play promotes a sense of self-expression and emotional release, aiding in the exploration and processing of complex feelings. By tapping into their creative sides, adults can cultivate a greater sense of mindfulness and introspection, leading to enhanced self-awareness and personal growth. In essence, creative play is not just a frivolous pastime but a valuable tool that empowers adults to embrace their inner child and experience life with a renewed sense of wonder and joy. This wooden painting workshop is one of my favourites to offer local charities as it's always so well received, it's informal, playful & their is no expectations or pressure for final outcomes, allowing participants to get involved in creative play & access their inner flowstate <3
